Ladakh (ləˈdɑ:k) (Tibetan: ལ་དྭགས, Wylie: La-dwags, Ladakhi [lad̪ɑks], Urdu: لدّاخ [ləd̪ˈd̪aːx]; "land of high passes") is a region of India in the state of Jammu and Kashmir that lies between the Kunlun mountain range in the north and the main Great Himalayas to the south, inhabited by people of Indo-Aryan and Tibetan descent.[3] It is one of the most sparsely populated regions in Jammu and Kashmir.
Historically, the region included the Baltistan (Baltiyul) valleys, the Indus Valley, the remote Zangskar, Lahaul and Spiti to the south, Aksai Chinand Ngari, including the Rudok region and Guge, in the east, and the Nubra valleys to the north. Contemporary Ladakh borders Tibet to the east, the Lahaul and Spiti to the south, the Vale of Kashmir, Jammu and Baltiyul regions to the west, and the trans–Kunlun territory of Xinjiang to the far north. Ladakh is renowned for its remote mountain beauty and culture. It is sometimes called "Little Tibet" as it has been strongly influenced by Tibetan culture. In the past Ladakh gained importance from its strategic location at the crossroads of important trade routes,[5] but since the Chinese authorities closed the borders with Tibet and Central Asia in the 1960s, international trade has dwindled except for tourism. Since 1974, the Government of India has successfully encouraged tourism in Ladakh. Since Ladakh is a part of strategically important Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian militarymaintains a strong presence in the region. The largest town in Ladakh is Leh. It is one of the few remaining abodes of Buddhism in South Asia, including the Chittagong Hill Tracts, Bhutanand Sri Lanka; a majority of Ladakhis are Tibetan Buddhists and the rest are mostly Shia Muslims.[6] Leh is followed by Kargil as the second largest town in Ladakh.[7] Some Ladakhi activists have in recent times called for Ladakh to be constituted as a union territory because of its religious and cultural differences with predominantly Muslim Kashmir.[8][9] |

100bestbuy.com review..by sanjeev
I had participated in a contest (Contest : Samsung Galaxy S3 :Pay & get a chance to win) shown in 100bestbuy.com.
I paid INR 599 using my credit card thinking I will have a chance to win Samsung S3 MOBILE.
I received a call from 100 bestbuy.com saying that I am a chosen 12 from 6000 people participated in the contest, In order to further qualify for samsung s3 mobile I have pay another INR 2999.00 otherwise my participation will be cancelled.
I was shocked as this wasn't explained to me while applying for this offer.
Now when I asked for the money back they said it will be there in your account in terms of points for which you can buy products from the website.
I knew about this condition before entering into this contest, but very soon I realized that they are cheating me by asking me to pay INR 2999.00 more.
And now when I am looking to buy something from their website of INR 599(which i paid earlier) I am surprised that the products value is way costlier than MRP in the market, this clearly gives me sense that this company is a cheat and committing fraud.
Guys if anybody is lured by their offer pls read this post and spread the message.
AND DONT GET INTO THEIR TRAP...AND ALSO DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEIR WEBSITE.
100BESTBUY.COM is cheating their people by asking them to pay some money to participate in a lucrative offer, once this small amount is paid, they will ask you to pay more and this will go on...
This is hos you will get into a big trap..
I even wrote them email twice on 16 march 2013, They have not even bothered to revert to my mail.
I am planning to take legal action against them, Let me know if anyone like me also planning for the same..
